What we do

Integr8 is the youth programme of Through the Roof, here to empower, equip and enable the inclusion of young disabled people in order that they can be a positive influence in the UK and developing countries.

Our aims

  • Through the Integr8 programme, Through the Roof supports churches and youth group leaders to follow the values and message of inclusion found in the Bible

  • TTR Integr8 wants to make the Good News of Jesus relevant to more young disabled people

  • Integr8 wants to encourage young disabled Christians to push their limits to the max, to become leaders, to inspire, influence and challenge others and to change the world!

Integr8 Projects

Integr8 is made up of four different parts:

Intentional training – training for youth leaders, church volunteers and Christian workers how to think inclusively and ensure their activities are inclusive of children and young people of all abilities.

Integr8 youth zone website - providing free inspiration, ideas and resources to encourage churches and groups to continue moving forward on the journey of inclusion.

Influence – mentoring and discipleship opportunities for young disabled adults (ages 14 – 30) to learn from the wisdom and experience of mature disabled Christians.

International – opportunities for short-term mission trips to train and encourage local people in developing countries how to include disabled children in their school, church and community activities.  These life-changing trips offer young disabled Christians; family members with personal experience of disability; and education and health professionals with experience of working with disabled children, the opportunity to spend nearly two weeks overseas.
